Greg Bensberg from the UK’s OfCOM began an n afternoon on ‘who should have the radio spectrum’. There are many claimants to the radio spectrum that was used in the past for analogue broadcasting. The ones that are not broadcasters believe that broadcasters actually need a lot less spectrum. Broadcasters generally want to keep what they think they’ve got or think they’ve got. Greg explained the actions that OFCOM is taken to try to satisfy the different requests, and to protect TV viewers from interference.
